>I know that a lot of negative things may happen, but let's not dwell on the bad... let's look at the good. This is a great event!! Here at a school in Seattle the school I teach at has over 200 students participating in the Day of Silence!!!! It's not perfect, but its definately sending a message about the importance of speaking out against homophobia.. by not speaking. Its sooooo powerful. Continue the great work you all do!

>me and many of my friends are taking part today and we all live in this little redneck, hilbilly town called huffman,TX and the whole day we have heard nothing but fag and one chick came up to some of us and said "gay is not the way", and now some stupid kids are making these silence for straights in mocking day of silence. but we have held strong, because we strongly believe in this.
