>While what he did with the sticker is absolutely idiotic he is able to, and anything he deems to be bad for the school he can limit and demand a student not do. When in school certain rights are forfeited, and same applys in other places. Should he be allowed to do this? No, should complain be raised? Yes. Now if you erroneously say he can't do that you weaken your own side throwing idiotic and false ideas, tell what the fact should be, and that it should be changed from what it is. But anyone saying that you have a freedom of speech fully protected, especially in a school, go say every swear word, then threaten to assassinate the president, see how far freedom of speech gets you.

Schools are dictatorships. And how do you deal with them? Play along, gain power, revolt against unfairness, rebuild in a good and fair way.

>has this school ever heard of the constitution? have they ever heard of the tinker case or the countless of other cases in which the supreme court has upheld the right of freedom of speech in schools? this absolutley sickens me that more than 4o years later after the civil rights movement, our country hasnt changed or learned anything; even after hundreds of people have sacrificed their lives to allow people to be free to be themsleves. even after thousands of soldiers have given thier lives to protect our freedoms that this country was built on, we continue to deny people thier inalienable right o happiness.

>She is not saying anything that is inappropriate she has full right to wear a sticker saying that. the principal wouldnt stop an Italian boy from wearing a sticker saying im italian. so why is this any different. it shouldnt be. this principal is ignorant beyond belief. (s)he needs to be removed from position if they are going to behave this way.
