Your Vote Could Grant GLSEN $1 Million; PLEASE VOTE NOW

GLSEN is in consideration for the Chase Community Giving campaign, a joint venture with Facebook that will result in $5 million worth of donations to charities chosen by Facebook users.

The first round of the campaign ends this Friday, that's just 3 days away and GLSEN needs your support! The top 100 voted organizations will be announced on December 15 and each will receive $25,000.

Those 100 organizations or charities will then advance to the next round of voting and on February 1st the finalist with the most votes will be announced and awarded $1 million. The first five runner-ups will receive $100,000 each.

While we’d love to win the million, first things first. $25,000 would go a long way toward our work to make schools safer for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

$25,000 can help us support more Gay-Straight Alliances, raise awareness about the Day of Silence and encourage the passing of anti-bullying policies that truly protect all students.
